Nah, I’m happy about it. At least i’ll get to do what i wanted eversince. This is just a hand-me-down from another online user. Yep, I randomly googled my way to get what I want that fits the budget

There’s still so much to learn about it and I dont care if it takes years. I’m willing to learn lol.

Its really fun to be a kid again.

After enjoying the children’s party, we (with Sweet and Jinneh) went to our office building to have a little chitchat. Jinneh went to Tapa King to check out some of her old buddies (she ended up having to take a shot lol. ya know), while Sweet and I went inside Starbucks. After the long (yet brief), fun, and interesting discussions about what’s happening at work, they had to go back to Rayz’s and I had to go home.

I think an hour or so has passed and I got this message from Sweet:

..ure such a gud frnd nej. talagang ok ka compared sa mga nakilala ko na tenured. Ok ka talaga. I see myself in u

Doesn’t she deserve her nickname? Hehe! I have really no idea what I have said or done to get a touching message like that. I mean, I am just being me.

Being flattered with what she said I just thanked her for it (lack of words really). I also replied “I don’t see a reason why I shouldn’t be”.

Is there? I mean yeah I’ve been with my current work status longer than her and I got in first. So what? It doesn’t give me the right/authority/power to be all-heads-up about it. Don’t get me wrong, I am proud of where I am now or what I was able to achieve for the past 3 years. But it’s not an excuse to feel superior about it. Like, why?

My point is, we all have been through the same somewhat difficult process. I also experienced being a newbie and fortunately and thankfully, our mentors never treated us differently. Even if they did, why should I pass it on to the now-new-bloods?

Unless I’m being selfish, the best thing to do is share what I have learned so far.

I know some’ll also say “yeah right, coz you dont know her that well yet”. Yes, I admit that I have a dark side. Who doesn’t, eh? But at least Ive learned to show the real me. I do my best to do so all the time.

If you dont like me for who I am, then you dont and Im not asking you to. But all you’re gonna get, is who I am.

In short, I dont give a damn.

I’ve just been to my god daughter’s 2nd birthday bash (my gift to follow, dear ) Let the pictures tell the story.

Social networking sites take up most of our time (esp. Facebook and Twitter!). But after playing all the Zynga games and stalking all our favorite celebs, we find ourselves just staring on our computer monitor. Since you still want to be productive in cyber world, you randomly think of  websites that may interest you.

Since I love shopping (i know most of us girls do) but can’t get outta the house and I’ve got no mo’ money, I suddenly remembered that I have a Multiply account (thanks to the auto fill option of my browser for I was able to log in  )! It makes window shopping A LOT easier. No need to go out and spend for cab fares, no sales ladies following you around (except Ayala malls, their staff are so different and I love em) and lining up to pay at the cashiers.

Flashback: Multiply wasnt supposed to be for online shopping. It was mainly for photo-blogging, picture archives or a web-based photo album. Since Filipinos are geniuses in money making, they found it a very convenient and easy way to earn. To make the story short, the ever wonderful Multiply staff decided to allow and formalize the biz to avoid scams, as they opened a Marketplace. They also now have an option to register as an online seller. Cool, huh?

Well, same as when you’re at a mall, you cant decide what you really want to buy since choices are endless. I think there are more stuff online since some of ‘em are not even available at your usual department stores!  So you end up in just having a wish list.

Nope, not technology related. FOOD! My favorite topic!

I try refrain for eating too much junk foods (due to too much sodium), but of course there are times that you’re craving for something salty..and crunchy.

Mom often drops by Healthy Options for supplements/medicines/maintenance thingie. Then one time she decided to look around for something to eat that can be eaten without guilt. )

She saw and bought this:

Exotic Harvest Sea Salt chips by Terra! We call it the healthy junk food and it is composed of 3 vegetables or root crops…whatever lol.

Kabocha, which is a Japanese winter squash, is the one with orange center and yellow and green outer layer.

Carrots obviously the orange one, is 100% natural and has the most authentic taste! Think thinned, sweetened carrot sticks.

The blue potato is my favorite! Here’s a closer look:

Yeah this post is kinda lame just wanna share some of my discoveries that you might be interested to try. )

Thursday, Aug 5, last day of my workweek! So I agreed to meet with Michie Ann (one of my best buds since elementary) to see *Geeyah (our uber pretty friend) and eat lunch at Chocolate Kiss. Its been like 5 years since Geeyah and I saw each other so I was so excited to see her!

We, especially me, didn’t mind if it was raining hard! Since we (me and family) have this kind-of-resident cab driver(s) who agree to pick us up and bring us home every time, I have no problems as to how will I get to our meeting place.

It was an adventure going there. Just when I though I was on time, I realized I left my wallet at home. Isnt it just so… Well.. So I have to ask manong driver to turn around and go back home. Being kind hearted and all and without any questions, we went back to the house. He also had to agree since I have nothing to pay him that day, )

I finally arrived at ChocoKiss around 2.30pm for the supposed to be 2PM meetup. We reminisced some of the “kalokohans” we had in college and luckily I remember some of ‘em. Michie and Geeyah had the most memoes since they have a lot of same subjects then, and their college buildings are near each other.

Anyway, Michie had to go back to work (also just within UP) after almost 2 hours and a half of just chatting, laughing and planning of the next lunch out. Geeyah and I walked her to her office, then walked back to UP Shopping center, where we bought twin ID laces (yeah just that coz the jackets are a little expensive). We didnt have much time to walk around since she still has to go back to her school (Mapua), and I have to go to work later that evening.

Our mini-adventure was worth it! Because friends like them are not easy to find anywhere.

*Geeyah used to study in UP, thats how we got to know her, while she was also modelling for Calcarries. It was kinda hard for her to juggle studies and work, so she left around our sophomore year and decided to work full-time at that time. Then months/years after, went back to school as a full-time student (she left the agency) in Mapua.
